Skylar, a Martin County native is 28 years young with an old soul. Skylar has been licensed for 10 years and has both freelanced and worked professionally behind the chair. She enjoys a creative approach to hair cutting and her portfolio is full of modern styles including pixies, shags and spunky mullets. She also loves to do balayage and rich, vibrant color. Skylar is Aveda trained and certified to do keratin services. When not at the salon she can usually be found creating art with her mother and grandmother, going to concerts, collecting records and vintage finds and managing her own photography busin

Colorist and Hairstylist

Donna has recently located from New Jersey and brings over 30 years of experience as a hairstylist with her. She loves all areas of hairdressing and color, is certified in straightening/keratin treatments and is passionate about bridal hair, updos and formal styles.

Nail Technician

Karin has been a part of the Michael Leonard’s family for over 22 years, however has more than 30 years of experience. She is known for her expertise in manicures, pedicures, gels, and acrylics. Most of her clients would describe her as a good listener and someone you can rely on. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and taking trips with her husband in their RV. She is very welcoming and strives to make your visits memorable.

Colorist and Hair Stylist

Donna, who is also originally from New Jersey, has been a stylist at Michael Leonard’s for over 12 years now, but has always been close to the Michael Leonard’s family. Although her favorite is cutting, she also enjoys all aspects of coloring and highlighting. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, softball, and spending time with her daughter and granddaughter. Her regular clients say she is gentle and takes her time. Donna gets to know all of her clients as to improve their overall experience at the salon.

Colorist and Hair Stylist

Donna has had a passion for the hair and beauty industry since high school. Able to fulfill her dream, she has over 19 years experience as a stylist/colorist at Michael Leonard’s Salon. Originally from Indiana, Donna moved to Florida over 25 years ago after her husband fulfilled his commitment in the U.S. Army. Donna has been married for 36 years and raised two awesome kids. She is a graduate from Indian River State College School of Cosmetology 2001.

Donna truly has a gift for client care and taking time with every person with the utmost professionalism. She has a love for hair cutting and coloring, and is always educating herself to learn more in the ever changing industry of hair. Making every client feel the best they can feel after leaving the salon is always a great day in Donna’s book. She loves to decorate her home and enjoys quiet time connecting to the beauty in nature. The beach is her place of peace.

Nail Technician

April, having practiced as a nail technician for over 32 years, moved to Florida in 2001 to be closer to her family and began working at Michael Leonard’s over 15 years ago. She specializes in the Shellac nail system and loves to do acrylics. April is known to be patient, kind, a great listener, and will always welcome a new client. Outside of work, she loves relaxing with her two dogs, going to the beach, and running; in fact, she just completed her first 5k!

Colorist and Hair Stylist

Gail has been happily working at Michael Leonard’s for the past 11 years and has been doing hair in this area for over 35 years! Gail emigrated from England 40 years ago. She is passionately in love with her profession and how it makes clients feel so much better about themselves. Gail always makes herself available if a client has an emergency, and works hard to fit them in at all times. Outside of work Gail loves to garden and decorate but her special joy is her 8 1/2-year-old grandson!
